Questions about TwoUp, a bug, or anything about a purchase — write to us. One person reads this mailbox, and you will normally get an answer within 1–2 business days. Telling us your iOS version and what you were doing when something went wrong saves a round trip.
It puts two panes on one iPhone screen — a web page, a PDF and a plain-text note in any combination. A pair of panes is saved as a workspace and reopens in one tap from the menu inside the app. On a foldable the layout follows the actual screen geometry: it swaps between rows and columns without tearing the panes down, so scroll position and note text survive an unfold.
Two things: keeping more than one saved workspace, and saving your own sites as shortcuts. Everything else — all three pane types, the two-page spread, resizing the divider, your notes, and opening any address by typing it — works without paying. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, offered weekly or yearly.
On your iPhone open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, pick TwoUp and tap Cancel Subscription. Apple bills the next period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current one ends. This applies to the weekly and the yearly plan alike. Neither plan currently includes a free trial.
Open the Pro screen and tap Restore Purchases. As long as you are signed in with the same Apple Account that made the purchase, it comes back at no charge. Nothing is tied to an email address, because TwoUp has no accounts.
On your device, and nowhere else. TwoUp has no server and no sign-in, so nothing you write or open is uploaded anywhere. The flip side is worth knowing: your data is not synced between devices, and deleting the app deletes it. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Importing copies the file into TwoUp on that device only, and those copies are deliberately kept out of your iCloud backup — a 200 MB copy of a file you already have in Files would bloat every backup you make. Your original stays where it was, and re-importing it is one tap.
The web pane uses the same engine as Safari, but some sites behave differently in a narrow pane, and a few refuse to be embedded at all. If a site misbehaves, send us the address — that is the kind of report we can act on.
Anonymous usage statistics only — which screens are reached and which buttons are pressed, so we can see where people get stuck. None of your content is ever sent: not a word of your notes, not the addresses of pages you open or save, not the names of your documents or workspaces. There is no account, and the advertising identifier is not used, which is why you never see a tracking prompt.
To switch it off, open Menu, scroll to the App card and turn off Share usage data. The privacy policy lists exactly what is and is not sent.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in and pick the purchase. Write to us as well if something in the app caused it — we would rather fix the reason.
